Keith Reed

Keith Reed, age 57, of Grand Saline, TX passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023.  A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Haskell Church of Christ.  Immediately following the service all are invited to attend a friendly gathering for visiting in the Church of Christ annex building. Keith grew up in Haskell, TX where he graduated from Haskell High School with the Class of 1984. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, rock concerts, and his beloved dog Plisskin. He was a man of great skill, and knowledge likely due to his ability to confidently tackle any opportunity that presented itself. His love for adventure and travel was only rivaled by his passion for the University of Oklahoma Football. We are confident that he would want it to be noted the last Sooner game he watched, OU prevailed over Texas. Keith was well known for his loyal friendships, sense of humor, and willingness to get a laugh out of everyone he met.

He is proceeded in death by his father Charles Denton Reed in 1989.

He is survived by his long-time best friend Leticia Miles; daughter and son-in-law, Lex and Austin Smith of Abilene; two grandsons, Tristan and Dalton Smith of Abilene; mother. Elaine Reed of Haskell; sister, Holly Reed of Haskell; brother and sister-in-law, Cayce and Dianne Reed of Haskell; nephews Turner Wade, Dent Reed, and Devery Reed; nieces, Megan Bailey and Dalinne Wilson; biological siblings he was able to connect with later in life, Dawnalee Stacy, Trevor Rosebeary, April Claborn, John Nichols, Jann Nichols and a host of dear friends.
