Mildred Marie (Posey) McFadden

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Mildred Marie McFadden, 75, of Iowa Park, went home to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is celebrating with loved ones who have gone before.   A Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, January 6, 2024 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Clifton McFadden officiating.  Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery, Haskell, under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D.  A visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2023 from 6:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Mildred was born May 8, 1948 in Knox City, Texas, the daughter of the late O. O. Posey and Frankie Gunnels Posey.  On November 28, 1964 she married Samuel “Sammy” McFadden in Mexico.  She worked as a secretary for various oil companies throughout the years.  Mildred was a member of the Word of Grace church in Iowa Park, Texas.  She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, and loved to sew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Pat Wilson and Juanita Posey, and brother, Roy Posey.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Sammy McFadden; children, Sammy Lee McFadden and Kathy of Wichita Falls; Billy McFadden of Iowa Park; Clifton McFadden and Katrina of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Austin McFadden and Roxie, Makena Delgado and Stephen, Josh McFadden, Sydney Bolin and Josh, Josh Martinez and Angelica, Ashleigh McCord and Jared, Matt McFadden, Quinten McFadden, Candace Carter and Kase, Samuel McFadden and Halleigh, and Jayden Parsons; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Posey and Nancy of Hawkins and sister, Linda Vaughn and Rick of Tyler; many extended family and a host of dear friends.
