Nina Wester

Nina I. Wester, 81, of Haskell, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Church of Christ in Haskell with Philip Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 24, 2016 from 7:00-8:00pm at Haskell Funeral Home. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Nina was born August 24, 1935 in Wichita Count, TX, the daughter of the late Jack Owen and Grace Scott Owen. On August 19, 1955, she married Sam Wester. Nina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and serving anyone in need. She was a faithful member of Haskell Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Nina is survived by her husband Sam Wester; son, Sam Wester, Jr. of Argyle, TX; 3 daughters, Gayla Dunagan and husband Mark of Graham, TX; Cheryl Shelton and husband Fred of Scottsdale, AZ; Shelia Lovett and husband John of Vernon, TX; 7 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 6 great grandchildren and a host of dear friends.
