Rachel Navarrette

Rachel De Los Santos Navarrette, 77, of Rule, Texas peacefully passed on December 25th, 2018.
Visitation will be held at the Haskell Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 from 6-8pm.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 28th at the First Baptist Church of Rule. Interment will follow at the Rule Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home.
Rachel was born in Junction, Texas to Marcos and Sara De Los Santos on July 21st, 1941. She married Antonio "Tony" C. Navarrette on December 16th 1957 in Benjamin, Texas. Together they made their home in Rule, Texas. Rachel was a homemaker all her life. She spent many days laughing and reminiscing on the front porch with her children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sisters, and many friends. Rachel loved playing bingo with her family and sisters.
Her father, Marcos De Los Santos and mother, Sara Garza De Los Santos, precede Rachel in death. Husband, Tony Navarrette, four brothers, Jesse, Pasqual, Tony, and Luis Del Los Santos, and one infant son, Tony Navarrette, Jr, also precede her in death.
Rachel is survived by 7 children: Carmel Navarrette of Odessa, Texas, Danny Navarrette of Abilene, Texas, David Navarrette of Bowie, Texas, Sara Navarrette of Haskell, Texas, and Gilbert, Joe and Noel Navarrette of Rule, Texas. Rachel had 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
Rachel is also survived by 5 sisters: Idalia Fuentes, Ester Muniz, Elvira Limones, Rosa Gomez, and Eva De Los Santos, and numerous nephews and nieces that she loved very much and enjoyed spending time with.
Rachel will be remembered and missed by many.
