Tony was born July 8, 1958 in Levelland, Texas, the son of William Mayhaw and Peggy Shirley Mayhaw Hampton. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1977 and attended South Plains College. He worked in the oil field for 25 years. Tony enjoyed fishing and story telling. He was an avid artist and family oriented.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Mayhaw Hampton.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Tonette Uzzell and husband Joshua of Ft. Worth, TX; father, William Mayhaw of Stamford Lake; Tonette's mother, Dawn Mayhaw; siblings, Sharon Williams and family of Levelland; Carla Morales and family of Mesquite; Billy Mayhaw and family of Lewisville; nieces and nephews, Cameron Mayhaw, Brent Williams, Kaylee Williams, Mitchell Williams, Evan Mayhaw and a host of dear friends.
