April was born on October 14, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to her mother, Mary Johnson. She spent her entire life in Mesquite, where she built countless memories with the people she loved most.

She loved crocheting, spending hours creating handmade treasures, enjoyed coloring as a way to relax, and could always be counted on to find something special while online shopping. Purple was her favorite color and reflected the vibrant spirit she carried throughout her life.

Above all else, April's greatest love was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness and purpose to her life. They were the center of her world, and she treasured every opportunity to make memories with them.

Born with spina bifida, April faced physical challenges throughout her life. Yet, she never allowed her disability to define her or limit her determination. She met life's obstacles with resilience, strength, and an unwavering spirit that inspired those around her. Her perseverance was a testament to her character, and she lived each day with courage, proving that life's greatest limitations are often overcome by the strength of the human heart.
