Billy Campbell, 82, of Haskell, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in Stamford. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the First Assembly of God with Brother Carl Amburn officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00pm, at Burkett Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. A visitation will be held Wednesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at Haskell Funeral Home. Billy was born August 12, 1935 in Burkett, Texas, the son of the late John Breckenridge Campbell and Florence Pearl Moore Campbell. For over 20 years he owned and operated Campbell Trucking. He was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; John C. Campbell, Carl Pierce Campbell, Charles Lewis Campbell and sister, Mildred Louise Rawls.
Billy is survived by his sons, Randy Campbell and wife Tammy of Haskell; Ronald Campbell of Alba; Charles Campbell and wife Tanya of Haskell; grandchildren, Tiffany Campbell of Haskell, Brittany Campbell of Rule, Cody Campbell of Haskell, Taylor Campbell of Alba, Kalee Campbell of Alba. Garrett Campbell of Haskell and Cheyenne Campbell of Haskell. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Zachary Campbell, Dylan Campbell, Kelsey Biba, Averi Baldwin, Kaiden Holmes, Brooklyn Holmes, Sutton Grace Campbell; siblings, Billie Ruth Alston of Tyler, Virginia Faye Cruger of Odessa, Kenneth Campbell of Haskell and wife Elaine; Jerry Wayne Campbell and wife Carolyn of Odessa; Betty Sue Lacey of Odessa, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
