Darlia was born on January 2, 1968, in Crosbyton, Texas, to the late Floyd Vernon Rogers and Ella Louise Gowens Rogers. On June 1, 1985, she married the love of her life, Perry Wright, in Haskell, Texas. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and service, owning and operating Wright’s A/C for 28 years and proudly serving the families of Haskell County. Darlia graduated from Paint Creek High School in 1986 and was a devoted member of New Beginnings Church.
She found joy in sewing, cooking, road trips, and family adventures, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. Darlia had a special gift for making people smile and feel loved. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with others. She believed deeply in showing Christ’s love through her actions and taught her family to put love into everything they did.
Darlia was fun, witty, and full of joy, living each day with unwavering trust in God’s plan. As she often said, “This is God’s story... I’m just along for the ride.” Those words reflected the faith, humility, and grace with which she lived her life every day.
Darlia is survived by her husband of almost 41 years, Perry Wright of Haskell; daughters, Lora Wright; Snowbel Wright; sons, Curtis Wright, Dylan Wright all of Haskell, TX; sister, Deneice Wright of Ft. Phantom, TX; brother, Derral Rogers of Nugent, TX; numerous of nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
