Donna Lee Davis, age 74, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Donna was born on October 31, 1948, in New Albany, Indiana to David Lee and Mary Jo Brown. Donna is survived by husband, David Davis, daughter Kristen Cordero, grandson, Garrett Cordero, stepdaughter, Marcy Baker, step grandchildren, Ben Baker, Cody Baker, Catie Baker and Ryan Baker, brother, Dave Brown, brother, Mike and Kay Brown, and sister, Annette Adkins. She is preceded in death by her father, David Lee Brown and mother, Mary Jo Brown. Special friends who were faithful and stood by Donna throughout her life are Steven Cordero, Cindy & Ernie Browning, Kathy Brown, Margaret Cotten, Don Daniel, Kay and Joe Mechler; Frankie Barnes, and Sharon Simpson. She loved red! Red hats, red boots, antique red cars, bicycles and trucks! She loved coconut shrimp, sweet tea, crisscrossing Texas for Blue Cross Blue Shield, being a part of Jaycees where she made lifelong friends, old quilts, new clothes, dancing to Country and Western music and singing in her church choir.

Donna treasured the Girl Scouts. Leading girls with a twinkle in her eye and laughter in her heart. Giving the girls the love for the great outdoors and guiding them to be ready for the world beyond. One of Donnas many adventures as a leader was to take a group of Girl Scouts to Mexico. They stayed at Nuestra Cabana in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Taking trips by bus to the Pyramids in Teotihaucan and many other places. Donna lovingly guarded and wrangled her girls through Mexico City to see the beautiful churches and aqueducts. Donna loved to reminisce with her former scouts, and they enjoyed that time with her.

She loved rocks, clouds, and sun sets. Talking about her experience talking and listening to God, sitting on her rock in the Tetons, and loved to relive that as often as she could.

Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with a smile. She was a devoted Christian with an unwavering and steadfast faith. We know that she is in Glory now, filling Heaven with her beautiful smile and singing praises to the Lord! We will see you again, sweet Donna. Save us a seat!
