She was a graduate of Haskell High School and remained a loyal Haskell Indian Fan. She was a cheerleader and also chosen as the Cotton Queen of Haskell County in 1953.
Dwanna married Wilbert Klose in 1954. This past February they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Their union was blessed with two daughters, three granddaughters and two great grands. Collecting and sharing recipes; hosting coffee and dinner parties; collecting antiques; sewing for her family and reading a good mystery were her favorite things in life. Dwanna loved sharing the adventures of her "3 Ts": her granddaughters, Tenille, Tracy, and Ty, and in recent years, her great grands, Lennox and Shy. Her greatest loves called her Nans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Delma Turnbow Matthews and son-in-law Larry Mathis.
