Judy Ann (Hunt) Andrews

Judy Ann Andrews, 77, of Rule, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 in the Haskell Heathcare Center. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Rule, with Brother Scott Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Rule Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 5:00-6:00pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Judy was born July 1, 1946 in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of the late Vivian Claire Barbee Hunt and William “Bill” Joseph Hunt. On October 18, 1962, she married Richard Andrews in Haskell, Texas. She enjoyed reading, fishing and cooking for her family. Judy was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church, Rule.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Andrews in 2009; daughter, Leta Stephens in 2011; sisters, Betty Sue Malone and Mary Lou Messenger.

Judy is survived by daughter, Sharon Stephens and husband Winston Stephens, Sr. of Munday; sons, Randy Andrews and wife Elizabeth of Rochester; Russell Andrews of Haskell; Michael Hunt and wife Cindy of Lamesa; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister, Rutha Davis of Abilene; brother, William “Bud” Hunt of Haskell; son-in-law, Dan Stephens of Haskell; sister-in-law, Betty Sorrells of Haskell; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
