Marisol Lopez Green, 54 age, of Stamford, TX peacefully passed away into eternal rest on August 26, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on November 28, 1971 in Lamesa, Texas to Lidia and Margarito Lopez. She is now in a better place, free from pain, and undoubtedly dressed in finest attire.
To know Marisol was to know someone who truly understood style, elegance, and the joy of dressing up. No matter the occasion, whether a grand celebration or a simple family gathering, Marisol always arrived looking impeccably sharp, vibrant, and full of life. Her love for fashion and putting her best foot forward brought immense joy to everyone around her.
Marisol also loved to laugh and, even more, loved to make others laugh. Her sense of humor and playful spirit could brighten any room. She had a way of bringing smiles to the faces of those around her and creating moments that would become cherished memories. Her laughter was contagious, and her ability to find joy and share it with others was one of the many things that made her so special. She enjoyed cooking, watching Lifetime movies and shopping. She enjoyed listening to all types of music, the Dallas Cowboys, and decorating her home for every occasion. And most importantly, spending time with family was what she most looked forward to.
Marisol is reunited with loved ones who went before her. She has left the burdens of illness behind to walk in perfect peace, light, and eternal elegance. Preceding her in death are her mother, Lidia Lopez; grandparents, Fidel and Silberia Lopez and Eva B. Sandoval.
She is survived by her father, Margarito Lopez, Sr., of Haskell; sister, Elizabeth Lopez Rangel and Doug Wilmeth of San Angelo; brother, Rito Lopez of Stamford; niece, Cie Avel Rangel of Lubbock; life partner, Richie Perez of Stamford; long-life friend, Sally Flores Ramirez of North Richland Hills, extended family and a host of dear friends.
