Myra S. Myers, 72, of Haskell, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Kristi Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D, Haskell, Texas 79521.
Myra was born February 3, 1944 in Stamford, Texas, the daughter of the late Hollis and Mertie Fagan McReynolds. On November 20, 1960, she married Carl Wayne Myers. For over 20 years, Myra worked as a CNA at Haskell Memorial Hospital. She attended God Loves You Ministries. Myra loved to spend time at the lake with family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl Wayne Myers, Infant son, Carl Wayne Myers, Jr, brother Ruble McReynolds, and son-in-law Flint Nanny.
Myra is survived by her daughter, Lisa Myers Nanny and Keith Solomon; son, Bobby Wayne Myers and wife Dana; and son, Ricky Joe Myers all of Haskell. She is also survived by grandchildren, Trey Rogers, Amber Rogers Martinez and husband Matias, Austin Nanny, Tara Myers, Allie Sherman, Haley Myers, Shawn Myers and wife Krista, Christian Myers, Sonny Payne; Great Grandchildren, Zander Garcia, Jordan Martinez, Ayden Martinez, Colston Myers, Caycen Myers, Kyleigh Sherman, Kyran Sherman and a host of dear friends.
Pallbearers are Christian Myers, Austin Nanny, A.J. Benton, Zander Garcia, Keith Solomon and Matt Austin Ussery.
