Ronald "Ron" A. Davis, 70, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Haskell. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Willow Cemetery with Brother Josh Fitchett officiating under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Ron was born January 10, 1950 in Fabens, Texas, the son of the late Cleo Davis and Lucille Clifford Davis. He proudly served in the US Army. On November 21, 1993, he married Johnnie Ray Lowe in Wichita Falls, TX. He worked as an Electrical Supervisor for many years at the Abilene State School and the North Texas State Hospital in Wichita Falls. In March of 2020, he started working for Double Mountain Coach as a transportation driver. Ron was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church, and he enjoyed rodeos and football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Pruitt Davis and Kenneth Wayne Davis; mother-in-law, Mary Lowe Schonerstedt and father-in-law, Drey Lowe.
Ron is survived by his wife Johnnie Ray Davis of Haskell; son, Kenneth Wayne Davis of the Abilene State School; stepsons, Mark Ivy and wife Penny of Wichita Falls, TX; Keith Ivy and wife Amber of Aubrey, TX; grandchildren, Mason Ivy, Nathan Ivy, Addison Ivy, Avery Ivy, Kelan Ivy; sisters, Carolyn Humphrey and husband Bob of Glendale, AZ; Lois Wilson of El Paso, TX; brother, Warren Davis of San Angelo, TX; sister-in-law, Billie Davis of Ennis, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
