Sheila Johanna Moeller, 61, of Haskell, entered her heavenly home on Friday, September 26, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Nathan Lafrenz officiating. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Sheila was born November 12, 1963, in Haskell Texas, the daughter of Frank William Moeller and Evelyn Johanna Pieser Moeller. Following her graduation from Haskell High School in 1982, she attended the nursing school program in Stamford, Texas and obtained her LVN. She compassionately and passionately served in the nursing field for 42 years working for Dr Chaffin at the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic as well as Texas Tech University Medical Center. While living in Amarillo, she was a faithful member of the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and attended Trinity Lutheran Church following her move back to Haskell.

She was a woman of great faith and found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures. She loved music and could often be found at the piano filling her home with a beautiful song. Blessed with a true green thumb, she enjoyed gardening of all kinds. Whether it was planting colorful flowers, tending to her houseplants or picking out a willow tree for her son’s yard, she found happiness in watching things grow. Another of her favorite past times was fishing, where she found peace in the quiet rhythm of the water and excitement in the thrill of the catch. She had a deep love for animals and was especially devoted to her dogs, who were true companions and cherished members of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sheila is survived by her sons, Jared Hibbitts and Aaron Hibbitts both of Amarillo, Texas; sisters, Janice Payne of Haskell, Texas and Judith Hanson of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Allen Moeller and Rhonda of Haskell, Texas; nieces, Jana Matic and Milan, Claudia Mattox and Danny, Johanna Payne, Kelli Dixon and David, Jessica Berg and Blair; nephews, Mitchel Payne and Libby and Casey Moeller and Melissa; numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.
