Vicki was born on October 1, 1960, in Haskell, Texas, to Lena Faye Bledsoe and the late Jim Bledsoe. She carried her small-town roots proudly throughout her life, embodying the strength, warmth, and resilience that define small town living.

Vicki was a graduate of Haskell High School, Class of 1979. After graduation she attended Miss Wade’s Fashion Merchandising School in Dallas, Texas. She was a customer service representative for Central Texas Farm Credit for 24 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Weinert, Texas.

Vicki married the love of her life, Brian Adams, on May 16, 1981, in Haskell, Texas. After marrying Brian, Vic (aka “Shug” to Brian) was a devoted farmer’s wife who stood faithfully beside her husband through the seasons of planting and harvest, drought, and abundance. She understood the meaning of hard work and partnership, offering steady encouragement and unwavering support in both the fields and at home. She is a beautiful example of dedication, humility, and quiet strength.

Known lovingly as “Grammy,” Vicki treasured her grandchildren above all else. They were the light of her life, and she poured her heart into every hug, story and moment spent with them. She was their biggest fan, always showing up with her loud shaker and bag full of snacks, coloring books, markers, and jackets. Her kindness, nurturing and gentle spirit created a home filled with warmth and comfort for all that entered.

In her free time, Vicki found joy at the piano. Whether playing hymns or her favorite melodies, her music reflected her tender heart and brought peace to those who listened, even her little dog “Handsome” would sing along with her. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her generous heart and the simple but profound way she made others feel special.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 44 years, Brian Adams of Haskell, Texas; daughter, Mandy Lewis and husband, Brett of Santo, Texas; son, Travis Adams and wife, Hanna of Haskell, Texas; grandchildren, Addison Lewis, River Lewis, Dylan Shaver and Kelby Adams; mother, Faye Bledsoe of Aspermont, Texas; brother, Kevin Bledsoe of Wingate, Texas; nephews, T. C. and Alan Bledsoe; father-in-law, Elmer Adams of Weinert, Texas; stepmother, Jan Bledsoe of Walla Walla, Washington; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of very dear friends.

Vicki was preceded in death by her dad, and mother-in-law, Linda Adams.

Vicki’s memory will live on in the lives she touched, the family she cherished, and the love she so freely gave. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
