Obituary for Jerry "Mike" St. John
Jerry “Mike” Michael St. John, 65, of Haskell, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Haskell Healthcare Center. A memorial service will be held 10 am, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Haskell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Crim officiating. Mike was born August 21, 1954 in Anson, Texas, the son of the late Bill St. John and Doris Middleton St. John. On April 9, 1981, he married Linda Ake in Haskell, Texas. He worked as an exterminator for Ready Pest Control for 30 years, he later worked for Rolling Plains Correctional Facility for 10 years. He was a member of the Jaycees and for 19 ½ years, the Haskell Volunteer Fire Department. Mike enjoyed fishing, gardening and raising hot peppers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Doris St. John and sister, Judy Standefer.
Mike is survived by his wife, Linda St. John of Haskell; daughter, Rhonda Howard and husband Bobby of Gail; grandsons, Tyler Howard, Matthew Howard both of Gail; granddaughter, Emily Howard of Gail; sister, Debra Lee and husband Michael of Amarillo, 4 nephews, 1 niece and a host of dear friends.
