Obituary for Junita Vynell Beauchamp
Junita Vynell Beauchamp, 84, of Rochester, Texas entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2018 in Stephenville, Texas at the home of her daughter. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rochester Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Junita (Clark) Beauchamp was born on May 8, 1933 at the farm home of her parents, Carl and Mary (Cerveny) Clark of Rochester, Texas. Junita attended and graduated from Rochester ISD in the class of 1950. Junita married the love of her life, James (Jim) L. Beauchamp in 1951 in Knox City, Texas. Jim was in the Navy during the Korean Conflict so Jim and Junita moved to San Diego, California until his discharge from the Navy. Except for their brief time in San Diego, Junita lived her entire life on the farm outside Rochester. Junita loved cotton farming, raising cattle, collecting pets, and flower gardening.

Junita is survived by her daughters; Debbie Hines and her husband Randy of Stephenville and Jamie Davis and husband Chris of Rochester, Texas. Granddaughters include Landra Sheffield and her husband Danny of Glen Rose; Angela Ritter and husband Jared of Rochester; Kayla Hopkins of Shallowater; and Marcie Stoddard of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Five great grandchildren also survive Junita: Emma and Noah Sheffield of Glen Rose; Mackenzie Hopkins of Shallowater; and Andri and Zane Ritter of Rochester. Sisters-in-law Ada Pope of Chino Valley, Arizona, Joyce Hester of Haskell, and Frankie Beauchamp of Lawn also survive the deceased. Larry Beauchamp of Lawn, is her surviving brother-in-law. Junita was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Her husband, Jim and a grand son-in-law Charles Hopkins predeceased Junita in 2014. Her only sibling, Marguerite Clark Gauntt died in 2013. Carl and Mary Clark, Junita’s parents, predeceased her in 1992 and 1973 respectively. Brothers-n-law P.G. Beauchamp, Clarence Gauntt, John Pope, and Sidney Hester all predeceased Junita.

Haskell Funeral Home is conducting the graveside service. Pallbearers for the service include: Larry Beauchamp, Chris Davis, Randy Hines, Jared Ritter, and Danny Sheffield. Memorial donations to the Rochester Cemetery Association are encouraged.
