Pat was born in Andrews, Texas on July 2, 1959 to Ray and Dois House. She grew up in Fort Stockton, Texas prior to marrying David Ivie in 1982. Pat and David raised their four children in David’s hometown of Knox City, before moving to Bridgeport, Texas in 2003.
Pat was a passionate woman with a patient, generous heart. Her love of her grandchildren and her horses were a driving force in her life. Her joy always came from her family, both two legged and four legged. Pat was known to have a feisty spirit and was rarely one to hold back her opinion. She was honest, always told you the truth, even if you didn’t want to hear it. She was genuine to a fault and rarely sugar coated anything, you always knew where you stood with her.

Her life will forever be cherished, and she will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband, David, and her children: Buck and Terri Ivie, Jennifer and Butch Bergmann, Joshua and Meagan Ivie, and Jason Ivie, and 9 grandchildren; her mother, Dois Clawson; sister, Bonnie Norred; brother, Ray House; multiple nieces and nephews; and an abundance of horses and dogs. Pat was proceeded in death by her father, Ray House Sr.
