Obituary for Victor "PeeWee" Villa
Victor “PeeWee” Villa, Jr, 50, of Haskell, passed away, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in Haskell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. George Catholic Church with Deacon Julian Estrada officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00pm, Friday, June 23, 2017, followed by a rosary at 7:00pm, at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Victor was born July 22, 1966 in Haskell, Texas, the son of the late Victor Villa, Sr. and Adela Villa Garcia. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church. Victor was an excellent contractor, working with concrete and remodeling. He also enjoyed crafting and could make anything. Victor had a huge heart, and never met a stranger. He had a servant’s heart, and would give to those in need. Victor would always find a way to make a tough situation into a good one.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Victor is survived by daughters, Erica Chavez of Haskell; Lezli Molina of Olney; Lindsey Abila of Knox City; son, Victor Thomas Scott Villa of Atmore, AL; 11 grandchildren; brother, Christobel Villa and wife Gloria of Haskell; Sisters, Janie Villa Mathias and husband David of Jacksboro; Joann Villa Williams and husband Greg of Haskell; Lena Jane Villa Bilger and husband Kevin of Abilene, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
Pallbearers are Austin Green, Josh Satterfield, Kevin Bilger, Lynn Payne, Manuel Villa, Jr., and Pablo Benavides.
