Obituary for Clarence Edward Tatum
Clarence Edward Tatum, 57, passed away, Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Abilene, Texas. A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 7, 2019 at East Side Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Grand officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Clarence was born February 11, 1961 to Charles and Billie Jean Kirkland Tatum. Clarence attended the Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and spending time with his kids. He was a mechanic at Yellow House Machinery in Abilene, Texas for 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Tatum; mother, Billie Jean Walters and step-dad, Wayne Walters.
Clarence is survived by wife, Ada Jarrett of Merkel, Texas; son, Rylie Tatum and fiancé (Ashlee Maxfield) of San Angelo, Texas; Rylie’s Mom, Bonita Tatum, of Haskell, Texas; sons, Logan and Dylan Tatum of Merkel, Texas; step-son, Canyon Jarrett and step-daughter, Autumn Jarrett, both of San Angelo;; grandson, Heston Tatum of Haskell, Texas; brothers, Gery Walters (Letha) of Abilene, Texas, Billy Tatum of Lubbock, Texas, and Terry Tatum of Knox City, Texas; sisters, Charlene Hawkins of Vernon, Texas, Katy Roysdon (Jake) of Vernon, Texas, and Cloa Tatum of Wichita Falls, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
