Obituary for Armando "Peewee" W. Rubio
Armando “PeeWee” W. Rubio, 40, of Anson, formerly of Haskell, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. A funeral service will be 10:00am, Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at East Side Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. A visitation will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Haskell Funeral Home. Armando was born March 11, 1981, to Armando Rubio, Sr. and Maria Masias. He was a foreman for the Solar farms and has attended Haskell Foursquare Church. PeeWee was a happy person, who’s smile lit up a room. He was always a hard worker and had a strong work ethic. He loved music and dancing. Above all he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother, Adela Guzman, great grandmother, Eva Masias; great grandfather, Frank Masias, Sr.; uncle, Locario Constante; great uncles, Frank Masias, Jr, Andy Masias, Freddy Masias and great aunt, Bessie Arizmendez.
Armando is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ramos Rubio of Anson; children, Julian “JJ” Rubio and Priscilla Gonzalez; Kolby Rubio, Adrian Rubio all of Haskell; Stacy Elkins, John Elkins, Jr. both of Anson; Armando (A.J.) Rubio, Jr. of San Marcos, TX; Marcus Dewayne Rubio Rocha of Abilene, TX; Cataleya Rubio; Yessinea Rubio both of Stamford, Texas; granddaughter, Elliana Arriaga of Anson, TX; brother, Michael Masias of Abilene, TX; mother, Maria Masias of Odessa, TX; aunts and uncles, Ramona Costante, Chris Constante, Suzie Flores, Joe Costante all of Corpus Christi; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
