Obituary for Becky Laquitta Howeth
Becky Laquitta Howeth, 66, of Haskell, passed away, Monday, July 11, 2022 in Haskell. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the First Assembly of God with Mark Greenroy, brother-in-law, officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Becky was born July 25, 1955 in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of the late Alma Lou Reid Solomon and Travis Lee Solomon, Jr. On January 14, 1978, she married Bobby Howeth in Haskell, TX at the First Assembly of God. She recently retired from Haskell CISD after 35 years of service working in food service. Becky was raised in the First Assembly of God; and had been attending Weinert Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, road trips to New Mexico and to visit her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Becky is survived by her husband Bobby Howeth of Haskell; sons, Rusty Howeth of Texarkana, AR; Bucky Howeth and wife Courtney of New Braunfels, TX; sisters, Judy Callaway and husband Hollis of Haskell, TX; Leisha Greenroy and husband Mark of Burleson, TX; special friends Eddie Howeth and Danny Kierepka, both of Haskell; numerous extended family, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
