Exiquio Sanchez O., 61 of Rochester, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Abilene. A Funeral Service will be held 3:00pm, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Faith Chapel in Rochester with Bro. Randy Hollingsworth. Burial will follow in O’Brien Cemetery under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Exiquio was born November 18, 1956 in Torreon, Mexico, the son of the late Celsa Orozco and Julian Sanchez. On May 3, 1983, he married Alice Moreno in Haskell County. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Exiquio enjoyed gardening, crafting, playing dominoes, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Pedro Sanchez.
Exiquio is survived by his wife, Alice Moreno Sanchez of Rochester, children, Stacy Leija Huerta of Abilene; Julian Sanchez of Rochester, Carlos Sanchez of Rochester, Edward Sanchez of Abilene, Billy Sanchez of Abilene, Jessica Sanchez, Cisneros of Paint Creek, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and a host of dear friends.
