Obituary for Walter Gee Brandon
Walter G. Brandon, 79, of Haskell, went to be with the Lord, peacefully in his sleep, on September 4, 2017. A funeral service will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church in Haskell with Pastor Larry White officiating. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, TX, with Pastor Tony Grand officiating. Services are under the direction of Haskell Funeral Home, 2 Avenue D. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.

Walter was born in 1937, on the 18th day of September, to Pauline Rose Zimmerman and Jesse William Brandon. He honorably served his country in the Army, worked in the Colorado Gold Mines, was a police officer, firefighter, and pilot. Walter retired from Colorado Ute after many years. In the time before his passing, he was a Chaplain in the local Masons, proud member of Trinity Baptist Church, and an avid hunter.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother.

Walter is survived by his two daughters, Sheila Wolf and husband Bobby; Donna Raney; grandchildren, Amanda Crain, Duste Wolf, Josh Raney, Justin Raney, James Raney, Vanessa Pace, Aaron Wolf, Ariel Wolf, extended family and a host of dear friends.
